It’s Coming…
No, not the maniacal clown from Stephen King. Or the “thing “It” from outer space (1953 movie reference). Also, not the nerdy dude from down the hall who fixes your computer or connects your printer. Nor the catchy Huey Lewis 80’s breakup tune, If This is It.
No. In this case, “It” refers to my second book. Not yet ready for purchase (either paperback or kindle), but I’m getting close. Recently, my writing energy has been focused on wrestling with Amazon’s formatting rules and making my round novel fit into their square requirements. With any luck, I’ll get this published soon and get back to writing blogs and short stories. I’ve also begun planning a Devlin Spudd sequel.
At the Intersection of Grief and Grace is a more serious work compared to Devlin Spudd, as you can tell by the cover. Set in 2016 in Middling (same place as Devlin, but he does not appear), the novel concerns three overlapping and life-changing narratives during a ten day span. Entirely a work of fiction, I tried to make the characters and stories real to life. You be the judge.
Unlike Chasing Rainbows and Dogs that Won’t Hunt, this work is a Christian novel. That’s not at all to say only Christians can (or should) read it. Not at all. Indeed, I invite everyone to read it and let me know what you think.
Keep watching. It’s coming!
Yayyyy! I’m excited to finally read the finished product.
Couldn’t have done it without you!
I can’t wait to read it!!!
Thanks, Minders. Maybe I’ll gift you one, a late birthday gift.
Mike, I remember I had a friend look up my book in the Library of Congress just to make sure I wasn’t imagining it. It’s very exciting and I am now thinking, heck, why not do a third book! A collection of third person situations and mishaps. Maybe I’ll call it WHEN SHE WAS 71. Keep up the good work. I’m proud of you
I love that idea! You have so many good stories and such a way with words. I’d be first in line for that book.
